The Extended Workforce team aims to deliver agile and flexible extended workforce solutions for Applied to help achieve its business objectives while protecting our brand and IP. We aim to deliver a world-class user experience, compliance awareness, and partnership to meet each team's resource needs and global workforce strategy. To better this effort, we operate a multi-regional support team to guide managers through the process of engaging and managing resources within the guidelines

This position is temporary for 2 years.

Your key responsibilities as an HR Specialist - Extended Workforce Program:

  • We are seeking a dedicated Extended Workforce Program Specialist responsible for managing the extended workforce lifecycle across the Europe region to join our Operations team. The ideal will interface with Hiring Managers, Suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective management of our non-employee workforce.

Operations Management

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of extended workers, from requisition to offboarding, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand workforce requirements and assist in selecting appropriate suppliers and candidates.
  • Manage and monitor supplier performance to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Hiring Managers, Suppliers, and other stakeholders within the Europe region.
  • Facilitate communication between all parties involved, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review the performance and address any issues or concerns.

Vendor Management System Administration

  • Work closely with the Operations team to manage the extended workforce in SAP Fieldglass, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Provide training and support to Hiring Managers and Suppliers on the use of the VMS system.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies throughout the extended workforce management process.
  • Generate and analyze reports on extended workforce metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization within the extended workforce management function.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Your education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (HR), Business Administration (BA), or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in workforce management, HR operations, or a related role, preferably within a multinational organization.
  • Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), particularly SAP Fieldglass, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the labor laws and regulations in the Europe region is a plus.
  • Proficiency in German and English; any additional language skills, such French or Italian is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Occasional travel within Europe may be required (20%).
